Wendy Beech

Wendy Beech brings over two decades of experience across education, business, and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. For the past eleven years, she has owned and operated Wendy Does Weddings, a celebrancy business that began as a passion project and grew into a thriving full-time enterprise. Through this work, Wendy has built a successful business while maintaining the flexibility to be present for her young family.
Wendy’s approach is grounded in warmth, professionalism, and a genuine care for the people she works with. She is passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces and is a strong advocate for Indigenous rights and the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring every ceremony she conducts is respectful, thoughtful, and deeply personal.
Before becoming a celebrant, Wendy spent eleven years teaching adults completing a Certificate IV in Tourism and also worked in primary education and the travel industry. These experiences have shaped her strong communication skills, attention to detail, and her ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds.
Wendy is passionate about supporting women to build businesses that align with their lives and values.
