Louise Capon

Louise Capon is the General Counsel of KPMG Australia. She also holds a position on the KPMG International General Counsel Steering Group – a group that supports legal and governance strategy for the KPMG Global Network of 152 member firms.

Louise has extensive corporate transactional and advisory expertise, developed both in private legal practice and in-house practice in Australia and Europe. Prior to joining KPMG, Louise held a senior legal role at Origin and before that, she was a Partner at Herbert Smith Freehills for over 10 years.

Louise holds degrees in Economics and Law (Hons). She has a GAICD with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of Chief Executive Women.
