For Rachel, sewing is not just work – it is her playtime too. She is in the business of making and selling clothing, and loving it. Starting with her friends and family, Rachel sews clothing for those close to her and is now expanding her range to people across Sydney. From skirts to whole outfits, she makes clothes for any occasion. Rachel is now growing her business into offering alterations, providing fast and convenient onsite alteration services to staff in offices, hospitals and clothing businesses.
Rachel Bali Chan moved to Australia in 2013. Now living in Sydney with her husband, she is keeping busy with building her business and is enjoying seeing it grow along the way. She misses the sea side view of her hometown.
