The use of the gemstone tool, the QI Wand, is an ancient Chinese secret for rejuvenation and revitalization. It combines the traditional Chinese medicinal art of GUA SHA (刮痧) which uses gentle or pressure strokes on face and body with the properties of healing stone. The treatment can relieve the tension around your eyes, neck and shoulders, and transform your skin, creating a radiant complexion and soft skin texture in just a few minutes.

Charlie’s skills in Chinese treatment have been developed through the traditional cultural practices that she grew up with, and encouraged by her father who is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner in Hong Kong. His profound knowledge in this discipline has inspired Charlie to follow in his footsteps and become a Traditional Chinese Medicine consultant. Currently, Charlie is studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and it is her aspiration to share the wisdom of this ancient Chinese art of beauty and well-being with you, to help revitalize and sustain the beauty and harmony of body, mind and spirit.

Global Sisters was introduced to Charlie through her connection with our community partner Stepping Stones to Small Business. Stepping Stones is a Brotherhood of St Laurence initiative that offers support to women from refuge, migrant and asylum seeker backgrounds who want to use their skills to start a business to support themselves.
