Meet Julie

Julie is a proud Kamilaroi woman (born Coonabarabran NSW), now living on Ngunnawal land in Canberra ACT.  A busy mum of two, Julie loves her bush capital home. After a 30-year career in hairdressing and salon ownership, Julie launched Dilkara Hair and then Dilkara Australia products that include Hair, Skin and Hygiene products. 

Dilkara Australia. Julie melded her Aboriginal heritage, technical and business knowledge to create her Indigenous range of products utilising native Australian botanical s as a base ingredient. Julie developed a range of vegan, cruelty and quality products that are natural, nourishing, environmentally friendly and have sustainable packaging. Dilkara also has an optional online refill model to reduce waste within landfill. 

Sister Pitch Asks: Julie seeks introductions to national supermarkets and beauty chains, as well as international buyers. She is looking for someone to provide guidance and advice on international expansion of Dilkara.
