Amber is a solo parent from Melbourne, living and working on the land of the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation. After taking time out of her corporate career to be the primary carer for her children, she was unable to return to this work and needed flexible employment. She wanted to create a business that would support people with mental health struggles through the consistent practice of daily rituals that enhance connection to self and earth.
Ethics & Alchemy is a new business, creating botanically dyed eye pillows, filled with organic herbs and ethically sourced healing crystals. Each piece is made slowly and infused with all the good juju that comes from taking the time to create unique, handcrafted things of beauty. The acupressure from the weighted eye pillow assists in resting and rejuvenation. They are the perfect aid to a meditation or yoga practice.
Sister Pitch Asks: Amber is looking for the opportunity to connect with someone who can help her expand the business – from an artisanal creation to a scalable business. She is also looking for ethical, sustainable manufacturing connections in Australia or Indonesia and once manufacturing is secured, she is seeking collaborations with wellness brands.
