We provide a genuine alternative for women who are unable to participate in mainstream employment or access decent, sustainable work. By removing the structural and systemic barriers they commonly face, we make self-employment a viable option for women.

Global Sisters is honoured to announce that Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia, has accepted the role of Patron of Global Sisters. 

Ms Mostyn’s experience, championing equity and inclusion, and leadership of the Women’s Economic Equality Taskforce, makes her a valuable Patron, to help amplify Global Sisters’ important work

At Global Sisters we seek to learn about and celebrate First Australian history and culture, and the incredible story of survival of the world’s oldest continuous culture. We recognise that the land we now know as Australia is Aboriginal land and was never ceded.
